Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Resources

Though we look for similar symptoms when making a diagnosis, ADHD can be different for every person. That said, below, you will find some resources to help you in managing your ADHD. If you would like to work together to build some of the coping skills to help you better manage ADHD, please reach out to me.

Two of the most important elements in beginning to manage ADHD symptoms are balanced, healthy nutrition and exercise couple with good sleep hygiene. 

The following provide outlines and tracking logs for each of these elements.

The TSU S.H.A.P.E. Initiative (TSI) is a Texas Southern University and community-based partnership established by the Department of Social Work and funded by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). S.H.A.P.E. stands for Substance Use, Mental Health, HIV/AIDS Prevention Education. TSI addresses these health disparities by offering student and community members free and confidential health screenings in-person and virtually, community-based referrals, and service linkage as based on its motto: Awareness, Action, and Empowerment. The CDC issued new guidelines for the process of testing, prevention, and care for those at-risk HIV/AIDS.
